Warm Up For Winter!
It’s pouring rain for the third weekend in a row and you are trying to sell your home. Don’t get discouraged – it’s easy to make your house look bright and cosy even on the darkest days of winter.
– Invest in a few new pillows, throws and duvets in warm colours.
– Kitchens and bathrooms sell homes. If these rooms are dark, add lighting and a fresh coat of light coloured paint.
– Start a fire and crank up the heater.
– Air the house by opening all the windows with the heaters running. Shut the windows 30 minutes before the guests come. The house will reheat quickly.
– Clear puddles from the driveway.
– Prune back dripping branches and bushes.
– Set up a place for coats and umbrellas.
