My wife Tanea and I are the owners of Haven Realty, Richmond and Nelson. I retired from a successful Deep Sea Fishing career of 25 years in 2006, after achieving all the goals I’d set within the industry and wanting to spend more time with my family.
I felt a desire to give something back to the community so coached rugby and touch for several years for the Boys and Girls Colleges, and at a representative level. I was seconded onto the Board of Trustees at Nelson College for Girls, chairing their disciplinary committee and sitting on the sports committee, and formed the Maori parental committee. I was asked to chair the Nelson Bays Touch Association and managed to coach a total of 8 different teams.
I am currently pouring my passion into the Real Estate industry through Haven Realty and our team of experienced consultants. Along with providing superior service to locals looking to buy and sell, I am looking forward to growing the Haven Sports Trust and its achievements for youth in sport within the Nelson community.
