Finishing off with fabric!

When choosing fabrics for accessories in a room consider how they will work with what you already have. Don’t go overboard using patterns in a smaller room as it will create a cluttered feeling.

Add colour!

While it is best to keep your interior colours neutral, you can add colour & texture with stylish furnishings and accessories. Try tonal schemes, where the colours all stem from the same primary colour. Want to be a little more adventurous? Try a contrasting scheme using colours from opposite sides of the colour wheel.

Window treatments!

Simplicity is the key to effective window treatments. Avoid fussy hooks, pleats and tassels, let the fabric be the focus. Elaborate curtaining could deter buyers. You can disguise small windows by hanging curtains from the top of the wall rather than the top of the window.
